| A. | ＯＢＢＬＩＧＡＴＯとは創業当時の以前の店舗名称を受け継いだものです。オブリガードとはポルトガル語で「ありがとう」の意味ですが、この綴りで英語の発音になると、音楽用語になるようです。ですからいつも御客様に意味を聞かれると2通りの答えがあります。このことにより御客様によって外国の方は音楽用語と判断し、日本の方は「ありがとう」と、理解していただいております。 |
| It is a musical term which specifies “an especially melodic portion of a song, usually a solo”.? The name was already attached to the caf? style restaurant when my family bought it in 1981.? We later found out that the word “Obbligato” is similar to the Portuguese word “obrigado” which means “thank you”.? This is somewhat unfortunate since there is a rather large Brazilian/Okinawan population that mistakes us for Brazilian food. |

| A. | オブリガードのオリジナルドレッシングはとても賞味期限が短いです。店舗でも毎日新鮮なドレッシングを作っています。やはり新鮮かつ無添加の材料を日々提供しようと努力しておりますので、御客様には販売のほうはお断りしております。 |

| A. | はい。すべて自社の厨房で職人が毎日作っております。トルティーヤからチリソース。ライスやミートまで朝早くから毎日仕込んでおります。レシピも創業当時の物を固く守り続けております。 |
| We make salsa, salad dressing, sour cream, guacamole, flour tortillas, and all the sauces fresh.? We do import corn tortillas, but hope to be producing those soon. |

| A. | オーナー（2代目）の奥様が高見知佳さんです。御客様から「店舗にて働いているんですか？」と聞かれますが、基本的には営業活動をしているので店舗にはいらっしゃらないです。 |

Toshiko Esparza, his wife, ran the business side and instituted all the kitchen procedures.?
